The Bandits Summer Development Camp blends elite hockey training with unforgettable summer adventures, giving players the perfect mix of hard work, fun, and friendship... all in one incredible week.

Our goal is simple: help players become better hockey players and better people... both on and off the ice.

A Week Packed with Hockey and Adventure

This isn’t your typical hockey camp. Yes, there will be a LOT of hockey... including on-ice skill development, dryland training, small area skills training, classroom sessions, and even the BANDITS BATTLE tournament...but there’s so much more! Players will also enjoy a true summer camp experience filled with outdoor adventures and lifelong memories.

Camp Highlights Include:

• On-ice, age-specific development sessions
• Intermixed team practices and inter-squad game tournament.. the famous BANDIT BATTLE (a unique game that is played everyday and points accumulate throughout the week)
• Classroom & video instruction
• Dryland training sessions
• Daily off-ice recreational activities
• Evening campfires, outdoor movies, and team bonding events

This camp delivers development, fun, and connection.. the perfect balance of training and summer freedom.

Off-Ice Adventures

When players aren’t on the ice, they’ll dive into exciting summer activities that few hockey camps can match! Enjoy everything from fishing and swimming to challenge courses, ziplines, and climbing walls... all in a safe, fully supervised camp environment.

Included Off-Ice Activities:

• Fishing on the Root River (bring your own gear)
• Swimming pool and outdoor games
• Ziplines and climbing walls
• Sling shot & BB gun ranges
• Archery range
• Challenge and ropes courses
• Mini golf & basketball courts
• Treehouse hangout with foosball and ping pong
• Disc golf, hiking trails & scavenger hunts
• Outdoor movie nights and bonfires
• Petting zoo with friendly farm animals
• And much more!

Every day brings something new, fun, friendship, and memories that will last long after the skates are off.

Camp Structure & Living Arrangements

Players check in Sunday afternoon and depart Friday evening. All participants stay in indoor dormitory-style housing, complete with a cafeteria, meeting rooms, and large gathering spaces.

Each registration includes:

✅ All meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner, and evening snacks)

✅ Housing and transportation to all camp activities

✅ Bandits apparel (t-shirt & team jersey)

✅ All costs for off-ice activities (ziplines, movie outings, etc.)

We keep groups small to maintain a high coach-to-player ratio and provide a true Bandits family environment.

Program Details

We will offer two player divisions:

• Pee Wees/ Bantams (15 skaters + 4 goalies)
• Squirts (15 skaters + 4 goalies)

Camp Schedule Includes:

• 12 hours of on-ice FULL ice instruction
• 5 hours of small area ice time instruction
• 5 hours of dryland training
• 5 hours of classroom/video learning
• 1 off-ice activity per day
• 3 meals per day + snacks
• Evening campfire or team event nightly

Example Daily Schedule

Day 1 (Sample):

7:00–8:00 am – Breakfast at Camp

9:00–10:15 am – Older Group: Dryland & Small Area | Younger: Full Ice Time

10:30–11:45 am – Older Group: Full Ice Time | Younger Group: Dryland & Small Area

11:45–12:45 pm – Lunch (food trucks at Rec Center)

1:00–3:00 pm – Off-Ice Activity

3:30–4:15 pm – Combined Ice Time

4:30–6:30 pm – Team Camp Activity

6:30–7:30 pm – Dinner at Camp

7:30–10:00 pm – Evening Activity / Free Time

10:00 pm – Lights Out

Every day rotates activities to keep players engaged, challenged, and having fun.

Limited Enrollment

This camp is intentionally small. Only 30 total skaters and 8 goalies in order to ensure every participant receives personalized attention and a true developmental experience.
