Hockey development doesn’t happen without Parents!

At Bandits Hockey, our focus is on developing players, but let’s be honest: without parents, there would be no players. We know it. We appreciate it. And we truly cherish our hockey parents.

From getting players to practices, juggling busy schedules, cheering from the stands, and yes… opening those wallets... parents are the heartbeat of the Bandits family. Your dedication keeps this program alive and thriving.

Beyond logistics, parents play a critical role in player development. What’s said in the car ride home, at the dinner table, and during family conversations shapes how players think, feel, and grow. That energy carries directly into the locker room and onto the ice.

When parents are engaged, positive, and connected, players notice and they respond. An enthusiastic parent in the stands often means a more confident, motivated player on the ice. When kids see their families having fun, building friendships, and enjoying the Bandits experience, they feel that same sense of belonging that makes our program so special.

The Bandits Parent Committee, affectionately known as Da’ Bandit Posse, is led by a parent representative who sits on the Bandits Board. This group operates independently from the board and focuses on organizing events, activities, and community building initiatives that enhance the Bandits experience for everyone.

This group's task is to create fun, creative ways to bring Bandits families together, while supporting our mission of development without politics, pressure, or pretense.

BANDITS Nights Out

Partnering with local restaurants and businesses where a percentage of sales supports the program.

Examples: Buffalo Wild Wings, Bull’s Bierhaus (more to come).

Night Crawler

A unique nighttime event where players light up the night with glow gear rollerblading, biking, running, or walking distances ranging from a fun 5K to longer challenge routes. A true Bandits-style family event.

Bandits Golf Tournament

An annual fundraiser featuring adult teams and player teams alike. A day filled with fun, friendly competition, and community connection. (More details coming soon.)
