Bandits AAA Hockey – A New Direction

When Bandits Hockey first began, AAA hockey was never part of our original mission. We experimented with it, and while we made great memories and friendships, the reality is that the AAA model pulled us away from what Bandits was built to do: develop players and build community.

To be honest, our full-scale AAA program became more of a distraction and the drama, stress, and logistics that came with traditional AAA hockey took energy away from the ain mission of our programs... development that truly make a difference for our players.

Teams will be family-run, with support from the Bandits organization. Team costs will be determined by the families themselves — not inflated registration fees like those charged by “big-name” programs. What you pay for goes into your team, to cover what you decide to do and not into the pockets of the Bandits program. If families want to form their own AAA team(s) under the Bandits flag, we’ll be here to fully support them.

• No tryouts. No politics. No drama.
• No inflated registration fees like the big programs charge.
• No wasted time on “who makes the team.”
• Logistical assistance and ice-time scheduling
• Coaching support (if needed)
• Jerseys, apparel, and team materials (if needed)
• Dryland training opportunities (if needed)
• Group hotel logistics/reservations
• Family events and gatherings during the tournaments
• Possible team transportation to tournaments
• Any additional guidance that teams may need

To make hockey fun without pressures, to keep it development-focused, and to rebuild it around community and connection... we believe this is the way it was meant to be.
